Peter’s Designer’s Blues
A short introduction
Peter’s daily work is a constant challenge of deciphering vague customer requests. His clients struggle to articulate their vision, often changing their minds whenever he presents a new draft.
They ask for vibrant, colorful designs, only to complain that there are too many colors. When Peter requests additional specifications, they promise to provide details—yet nothing ever comes.
After hundreds of iterations and countless hours of frustration, the customer ultimately selects the very first concept Peter proposed, insisting it was their preference all along. On the brink of a nervous breakdown, Peter accepts their final decision and receives a modest payment for his efforts.
Later, as tens of thousands of units are sold, the customer reaps the financial rewards and proudly proclaims the mold design as their own brilliant idea.
Let’s listen to his blues…
